Prof. J.M. Corchado, University of Salamanca Juan Manuel Corchado is a Professor at the University of Salamanca, the Director of the BISITE Research Group (Bioinformatics, Intelligent Systems, and Educational Technology), the President of the AIR Institute, the Director of the IOT Digital Innovation Hub, the President of the AIR Institute, and a Principal Investigator of the Project funded by DIGIS3 (Digital Innovation Hub of Castilla y León). He is also a Visiting Professor at the Osaka Institute of Technology and a Visiting Professor at the Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. Juan M. Corchado holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of the West of Scotland and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Salamanca. He holds a BSc. (Hons) in Software Engineering from the University of Paisley (UK) and a Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Salamanca. In addition, he works as the editor-in-chief of the journals ADCAIJ (Advances in Distributed Computing and Artificial Intelligence Journal), and Electronics MDPI (Computer Science & Engineering section). J. M. Corchado mainly works on projects related to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Fintech, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, IoT, Fog Computing, Edge Computing, Smart Cities, Smart Grids, Bioinformatics, Neuroscience, and Sentiment Analysis. |
Prof. Lin Chen, Sun Yat-sen University, China From 2009 to 2019, Lin Chen was an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Paris-Sud. Since 2019, he has been a professor at the School of Data and Computer Science at Sun Yat-sen (Zhongshan) University. His research interests include Distributed algorithm design and analysis in networked systems, wireless networks and communication systems; security and privacy in cyber-physical systems. He has published 2 monographs and more than 100 papers, including ieee/acm ton, iEEE JSAC, IEEE TMC, IEEE TIFS, IEEE INFOCOM, IEEE RTSS, ACM MobiHoc, IEEE ICDCS, etc., and has been awarded the best paper award three times ( GameSec 2017, NEWCOM 2015, IEEE ICCCN 2007). His papers have been cited more than 3,000 times, giving him an h-index of 33. He has been selected for the National High-level Talent Program (Youth), and Pearl River Talent Program (Young Top Talent), served as the chair of IEEE Green Cognitive Communication Computing Working Group, and chaired and participated in more than ten scientific research projects in China, France, and the European Union. He has published more than 100 papers in top conferences and journals in the industry, won the best paper award 3 times, and was selected as one of the top 2% top scientists in the world in 2023. |
Prof. Defu Zhang, Xiamen University, China XMU Big Data and Computational Intelligence Lab, China Xiamen Smart Digital Economy Research Institute, China
He is the Vice President of Digital Fujian Big Data Infrastructure Technology Research Institute, Minjiang Science Communication Scholar, and a senior advisor of the Xiamen Science and Technology Economy Promotion Association. What’s more, he is also a leading entrepreneurial talent in Xiamen's "Double Hundred Program" in 2017, and a Sino-British Innovative Leading Talent Program in 2017. The 70th anniversary of the founding of the PRC & the most influential leader of China's agricultural service promotion in 2019. He founded the Big Data Precision Farming Platform and the Mangrove Public Education Platform. He is mainly engaged in the research of Big Data and Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Knowledge Graph, Q&A System, Data Mining, and Decision Optimization. In the past 5 years, he has published many papers in journals such as Information Sciences and international conferences, including more than 60 SCI papers with an H-index of 34. He has undertaken more than 10 vertical and horizontal projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Scholarship Fund of the Ministry of Education of China, and Huawei, etc. He is also a member of the National Academy of Sciences of the People's Republic of China. |
Assistant Professor Feng Yin,The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen Feng Yin received his B.Sc. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China, and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Technische Universitaet Darmstadt, Germany. From 2014 to 2016, he was a postdoc researcher with Ericsson Research, Linkoping, Sweden. Since 2016, he has been with The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and is currently an assistant professor at the School of Science and Engineering. His research interests include statistical signal processing, Bayesian learning and optimization, and sensory data fusion. He has published more than 30 top-tier journal papers, 40 conferences, and 20 patents/standards. He was a recipient of the Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-Financed Students Abroad in 2013 and the Marie Curie Young Fellowship from the European Union in 2014. He was the finalist for the IEEE CAMSAP Best Paper Award in 2013 and received the best paper award at the ICSINC conference in 2022. He is an IEEE senior member and currently serving as the Associate Editor for the Elsevier Signal Processing Journal. |
